From Strong Foundations to Middle School
At BÜMED MEÇ Schools, the educational journey is built upon solid foundations laid in preschool and continues holistically with middle school following primary school. The main purpose of our middle school program is to create a unique and sustainable school culture that enables our students to grow into academically, socially, physically, and emotionally well-equipped individuals.
In this process, prioritizing is given not only to ensuring that our students acquire 21st-century skills, but also to helping them internalize universal values and develop as balanced individuals.
Our educational program, which focuses on developing research skills and is supported by scientific processes, is structured with an interdisciplinary approach under the guidance of our academic advisors. It is aimed for our students to connect knowledge and skills acquired in different fields and to enhance their analytical thinking competencies.
Foreign language education at BÜMED MEÇ Schools is a long-term learning process that begins in preschool. At the end of our middle school program, it is aimed for our students to reach a level of English proficiency at CEFR B2 according to European Union standards. English classes are planned by differentiating according to students' age groups and developmental needs.
The English program is conducted with enriched content tailored to students' interests and through communicative methods. The goal is for students to enjoy learning the language, express themselves with confidence in written and spoken communication, and gain intercultural awareness.
Second foreign language courses are offered as electives (German, Spanish, French) with 2-hour weekly schedules. In this way, students develop multilingual awareness and gain the ability to adapt to different cultures, placing their learning on a stronger foundation.
Throughout middle school, classes are planned to contribute to students achieving successful results in national and international examinations. In addition, learning-to-learn skills and awareness of interests and talents are supported through practical courses and club activities. Real-life connected field trips, talks, projects, and experiments take learning beyond the classroom, nourishing academic development in a versatile manner.
At the end of the BÜMED MEÇ Middle School program, our students graduate as individuals who can inquire into and analyze the world through an interdisciplinary perspective, possessing high self-confidence and strong communication skills. Students who express themselves effectively in their native and foreign languages, with developed intellectual awareness, productivity, and curiosity, become individuals ready to add value to the future.
