At BÜMED MEÇ Schools, our Psychological Counseling and Guidance (PDR) Department serves three main stakeholders: students, teachers, and parents. Our primary objective is to closely understand our students, identify their strengths and areas for development, and accurately support and guide them whenever needed.
Our PDR Department conducts in-class and out-of-class observations to support students' social, emotional, and skill development, carrying out individual and group work in a planned manner. In line with the annual guidance program, students' developmental processes are regularly monitored and evaluated.
Parents are informed when deemed necessary; families are supported through guidance bulletins, seminars, and meetings regarding age-specific developmental characteristics and current topics. BÜMED MEÇ Schools adopts a solution-oriented approach as a principle and attaches great importance to the collaboration between teachers, students, the guidance department, and parents.
Behavior management in our school is addressed on the basis of a positive discipline approach. This approach supports students in becoming aware of their own behaviors, taking responsibility, and solving problems they encounter through constructive means. The primary goal of our PDR Department is to preserve students' innate temperamental traits and strengthen their emotional intelligence while supporting their social skills, personality, and emotional development.
Thanks to this holistic guidance approach, BÜMED MEÇ students progress as more conscious, strong, and balanced individuals in both their academic and personal development journeys.
