Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özgür Bolat graduated from Boğaziçi University, Faculty of Education. He completed his master's degree at Harvard University Graduate School of Education with Fulbright and Turkish Educational Foundation scholarships. Özgür Bolat currently provides training at the Parent School (Anne Baba Okulu) and ÖğretmeM Academy, which he founded. At the same time, he brought the personalized Child Rearing Guide to our country with the Parentwiser mobile application.

Having been a columnist for Hürriyet Newspaper for 12 years, Özgür Bolat currently prepares and presents the Parent School Program on NTV.

ASSOC. PROF. DR. ENGİN ADER BOĞAZİÇİ UNIVERSITY FACULTY MEMBER

BÜMED MEÇ SCHOOLS MATHEMATICS EDUCATION PROJECT:
DOSTUM MATEMATİK

After completing his undergraduate education in engineering at Boğaziçi University, Engin Ader received his master's degree in mathematics education from the same university, and his Ph.D. from the University of Nottingham in the UK. He has been working as a faculty member in the field of mathematics education at Boğaziçi University since 2009, and in the Learning Sciences program since 2017. He has conducted research in areas such as teacher education, problem-solving, and the development of students' thinking skills. He has published in national and international academic journals and authored numerous book chapters.

Engin Ader organizes various teacher trainings and workshops for primary and middle school teachers. Additionally, he has been serving as a mathematics education consultant at Boğaziçi University Alumni Association schools since 2014. He spent the 2016-2017 academic year on sabbatical at Arizona State University and conducted research with leading mathematics educators. Between 2015 and 2019, he coordinated the Metacognition Special Interest Group of the European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction (EARLI). He has been involved in the preparation of the mathematics curriculum in Turkey since 2013 (for the gifted between 2018-2019; currently for K-12).

DR. IŞIL BOY ERGÜL EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST - DOSTUM ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

She graduated from Istanbul University, Department of English Language Teaching in 2005. She completed her master's degree in Educational Technology at the University of Manchester in 2013.

Since 2013, she has been working as the IT Consultant to the Vice Rector for Administration at Yıldız Technical University. After working as a Project Consultant at Legoland California in the summer of 2004, she served as the Training Manager at British English Language Schools from 2005 to 2006. She started working as a Lecturer at Yıldız Technical University in 2006 and currently teaches undergraduate students at the Faculty of Education.

Since 2012, she has been working as an Educational Technology Trainer during the summers at Pilgrims Teacher Training, one of the most famous schools in the UK providing training for teachers, at the University of Kent. The "Use of Mobile Technologies" course, whose content she created and taught in the summer of 2013, attracted great attention.

DR. SERAP ALTEKİN CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Clinical Psychologist Dr. Serap Altekin completed her undergraduate, master's, and doctoral studies at Boğaziçi University; she has been conducting studies in the field of psychoeducation and psychotherapy with youth and adults for many years. In addition to her clinical work, she has served as a lecturer at various universities; she has taken part in many academic and applied studies supporting the emotional, social, and psychological development of children, youth, and adults.

Dr. Altekin is known for her work with schools, families, and educators on trauma, psychological well-being and resilience, child safety, gender equality, inclusion, and healthy communication. In her work with both children and adults, she adopts age-appropriate, play- and experience-based approaches that support the strengthening of emotion regulation skills, the establishment of safe relationships, and their ability to express themselves healthily.

In the studies carried out within BÜMED MEÇ Schools, Dr. Serap Altekin aims to support the well-being of students, families, and teachers, to approach families and teachers in cooperation and solidarity as a natural part of the process, and to contribute to the strengthening of a safe, inclusive, and supportive psychological climate in the school environment.
