At BÜMED MEÇ Schools, Turkish and Social Studies courses are conducted under the title of Dostum Philosophy, based on an inquiry-based learning approach. In this approach, students are curious and courageous learners who ask questions, research, seek answers, and reshape their thoughts when necessary. Teachers, on the other hand, hold a facilitating role, guiding students' learning processes and preparing lesson plans to implement them effectively in the classroom. For Dostum Philosophy to be implemented successfully, it is important for teachers to thoroughly embrace the inquiry-based learning approach. In line with this, our teachers are supported throughout the year through regular trainings, seminars, and weekly workshops. In this process, the Philosophy for Children (P4C) method, which aligns with inquiry-based strategies, is taken as a reference, enhancing students' thinking, discussion, and production skills.
