MEÇ Time

MEÇ Hour Applications

Curious Child Hour (MEÇ Hour) is included in our educational program as a special time period structured uniquely to our institution, aiming for students to discover their individual interests, develop their imaginations, and actively participate in their learning processes.

Within the scope of the MEÇ Hour application, students identify topics of interest appropriate to their age and developmental levels, engaging in a research process primarily under the guidance of their parents, followed by the academic direction of their teachers. This structured process allows students to systematically develop skills in researching, accessing information, and interpreting data at an early age.

Nurtured by children's natural sense of curiosity and driven by fundamental inquiries such as "Why is the sky blue?", "Does water move?", and "Why don't people look alike?", students find the opportunity to experience scientific thinking skills at an early age. Throughout this process, curiosity is fostered, ensuring the continuity of their intrinsic motivation toward learning.

Students who complete the research process present the information they have acquired to their peers during the MEÇ Hour, gaining the opportunity to develop skills in self-expression, structuring thoughts, public speaking, and presentation at an early age. This application holistically supports not only students' academic development, but also their communication, self-confidence, and problem-solving skills.
