Founded in 2011 by BÜMED and academics from Boğaziçi University, MEÇ Schools transform curiosity into discovery and discovery into sustainable success.

A Journey That Began with Curiosity

Children are naturally curious. At BÜMED MEÇ Schools, our preschool education program is structured around this fundamental trait. Our approach, which aims to closely understand each student’s individual characteristics and support them, aligns with our educational philosophy of nurturing individuals who question, explore, and maintain a lifelong interest in learning.

Our early childhood education approach prioritizes the child’s social and emotional development while supporting the acquisition of a solid foundation in their native language and fostering awareness of foreign languages. Our native and foreign language programs are designed to complement one another and are implemented concurrently throughout the school year. Learning outcomes are clearly defined for each age group; all activities are planned to encourage the use of language in social contexts.

The BÜMED MEÇ Schools Elementary School program was designed by academics and educational scientists based on the fundamental principles of skill development, inquiry, fostering curiosity, and student-centered learning. The primary goal of our program is to help our students develop a positive attitude toward lifelong learning, research, and reading, and to create opportunities for each individual to discover their own potential.

From a Strong Foundation to Middle School

At BÜMED MEÇ Schools, the educational journey is built upon the solid foundations laid in preschool and continues seamlessly from elementary school into middle school. The primary goal of our middle school program is to create a unique and sustainable school culture that enables our students to grow into well-rounded individuals who are academically, socially, physically, and emotionally equipped.

Throughout this process, we prioritize not only helping our students acquire 21st-century skills but also ensuring they internalize universal values and develop into well-rounded individuals.

Our educational program, which focuses on developing research skills and is supported by scientific processes, is structured through an interdisciplinary approach under the guidance of our academic advisors. The goal is for our students to be able to connect the knowledge and skills they acquire in different fields and to develop their analytical thinking skills.
