We aim to raise our students as global citizens who think about world problems, carry out the necessary strategies to find solutions and make meaningful contributions to the planet. In this direction, we have started our work with our “Global School” title as of September 2022-2023 academic year.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) are a set of 17 goals negotiated and adopted by all 193 world governments in 2015 to end extreme poverty, achieve decent work for all, promote justice and peace, and protect the natural environment. These goals are divided into 169 targets to be used as a practical tool for governments, institutions, local communities, civil society organizations and businesses to work together towards a common goal.
At BÜMED MEÇ Schools, we continue our work with our curriculum developments and student activities with the emphasis on the need to empower the young population in order to build the society of the future within the scope of the Global Schools Program.
